Forecasts indicate that Friday’s running could be the trickiest of the weekend, with light rain or drizzle expected to hit FP1 and potentially impact Spring Qualifying later in the afternoon.

Temperatures will hover around 19-21°C, and with Spa’s unique microclimate, showers could appear without warning, giving teams little room for error.

Saturday’s Sprint and qualifying sessions are expected to be drier, with only a 20% chance of showers, offering drivers a better chance to push flat-out.

However, teams will still keep a close eye on clouds rolling in over the Ardennes forest — notorious for producing unpredictable weather patterns.

Race day on Sunday looks set for a mix of sunny spells and clouds, with a slim chance of light showers late in the afternoon.

If rain does arrive during the Grand Prix, it could create another dramatic showdown similar to Silverstone, where McLaren’s Lando Norris thrived in changing conditions to win in front of his home crowd.

Last year’s Belgian GP, held in the dry, saw Lewis Hamilton declared the winner following George Russell’s disqualification. With McLaren leading both championships and Red Bull struggling to match their pace, the weather could provide an opportunity for surprise results.

Spa has delivered iconic wet-weather moments in F1 history, and with championship leader Oscar Piastri just eight points ahead of teammate Norris, any rain this weekend could add another twist to an already intense title battle.
