The club could be about to lose a major talent.
Barcelona youngster Dro Fernandez is reportedly set to leave the club and informed Hansi Flick of his decision this morning.
According to Diario Sport, Dro has several offers and will now decide where he will continue his career. He has a release clause in his contract that is just €6 million.
Sport say that Barcelona have been left stunned by the youngster’s decision and could still try to convince him to stay. The club had been hoping to extend his contract when he turns 18 but are now facing losing one of their most exciting talents.
The intense competition for places is said to be one of the reasons behind Dro’s decision. He’s managed five first-team appearances for Barcelona this season but hasn’t featured since the win over Atletico in December.
