Fremont Ross girls basketball traveled to Napoleon with first place in NLL Cardinal Division on the line.
Karina Hensinger dropped in a 3-pointer to force overtime Thursday before visiting Fremont Ross defeated Napoleon 46-45 in the Northern Lakes League Cardinal Division.
Freshman Sarai Oman scored 20 points for the Little Giants (8-6, 5-1). Freshman Brynn Ward added 12 points and Hensinger 10.
Ross has four games remaining in the NLL Cardinal Division and currently controls its own destiny for at least a share of the crown, as does Napoleon (9-6, 4-1). The two split the conference championship last season and the Little Giants took it outright the year before.
Two games between Ross and Napoleon this season were decided by a total of two points as the Little Giants fell 43-42 at home last week. Ross plays host to three of its remaining matchups in the league, traveling only to Sylvania Southview.
