Benfica are open to negotiating a permanent move for Joao Felix, with Chelsea currently in negotiations with the Portuguese giants according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues have been busy this summer, and have already made three new attacking signings in Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
Chelsea are also working on deals for for both Xavi Simons and Jorrel Hato as they look to add more reinforcements to Enzo Maresca’s squad.
Benfica open to permanent move for Joao Felix
Whilst incomings are important, Chelsea have a number of players they need to move on, with Felix falling into that category.
The 25-year-old Joined last summer from Atletico Madrid for £45m, but spent the second half of last season on loan at AC Milan.
Milan opted against making the move permanent, and Felix is currently training with the “bomb” squad at Cobham.

Felix has made it clear his preference is a return to Benfica, whilst he also has interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
Chelsea have reportedly set their asking price at £43.3m , and Romano has now provided a fresh update on the situation.
He took to X.com and said:
“Negotiations between Benfica and Chelsea for João Félix continue as Jorge Mendes maintains excellent relationship on both sides.

Felix made 20 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea, and scored just one goal in 12 Premier League appearances last season.
Nkunku expected to leave
Felix isn’t the only attacker expected to leave, with Christopher Nkunku also set to move on this summer after two years at the club.
Chelsea have reportedly dropped Nkunku’s asking price to £43.3m, having valued the 27-year-old in excess of £60m in January.
Nkunku is attracting interest from Bayern Munich, whilst Newcastle, Nottingham Forest and Manchester United are also said to be interested, but no official offers have been made yet.
