As the complex offseason begins, with the Las Vegas Raiders navigating potential coaching changes, a shifting quarterback market, and Dante Moore's decision to return to school, Maxx Crosby shared a recovery update.

Crosby struggled with a meniscus injury during the mid-October game against the Kansas City Chiefs (Week 7). The Raiders' defensive end dealt with the issue for most of the season before undergoing surgery last week. Crosby, however, had been dealing with the injury of late. The knee problem forced him to miss the final two games after being placed on injured reserve to end the year.

On Wednesday, Crosby shared a photo from their home with his daughter, Ella Rose Crosby, both in matching green outfits, as if bathed in a green light amid his recovery:

"Matching Lil Mama," Crosby captioned the photo.

Davante Adams of the Los Angeles Rams recently told Kay Adams that he and his former teammates still stay in touch following the 3-14 season.

“I've been kind of letting him [Crosby] been kind of letting him breathe a little bit,” Adams said. “But I've been in his ear a little bit this year. Just kind of checking on my guy, few of my guys over there. Him. Tre Tucker, that's another one of my guys over there as well. DJ Turner. I've been checking on all my guys over there. Just making sure that they're good and in a good headspace.”

On the flip side, the Oregon Ducks mutually agreed to keep quarterback Moore on campus next season. However, it appears that the Raiders were not too pleased with the decision. On Tuesday, draft analysts reported that the 2026 quarterback class, along with the value of the first overall pick, was impacted after the player announced he would stay at the school for another year.

"This is huge for the Las Vegas Raiders because they don't really have to take a quarterback if they don't want to," analyst Sanjit T said regarding the pick.

Although there are no reports of Vegas trading the first overall pick, there have been a few NFL teams that could offer multiple assets this week.

The LA Raiders' quest to find their leader will commence this offseason

They will interview several defensive coordinators for the head coaching vacancy. Along with Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero, the Raiders also announced they were interviewing Jesse Minter as a potential head coach after a 3-14 finish in the 2025 season.

Fernando Mendoza has been the most dynamic QB that draft analysts have evaluated, becoming the clear top prospect in his class. As a smart player in the upcoming draft, the QB fits the mold of Justin Herbert, Joe Burrow, and other elite passers.

Among the names that have emerged during the Raiders' supposed rebuild of the roster organization has been Trey Hendrickson in trade talks, according to 105.3 The Fan. Hendrickson struggled with injuries and inconsistencies during his early career. The Bengals' DE dealt with low sack totals early in his tenure, before suffering various health issues.

“The first two years bleeding into the third of Trey Hendrickson's career he was an injury nightmare,” Bobby Belt said. “In fact first two seasons of his career he had two sacks that was it and then he had four and a half in year three.”

The Silver and Black will decide on the pick this offseason, with the choice between a quarterback or a trade scheduled for April.

The Raiders interview again on Thursday and Friday, and their choice between offensive and defensive specialists will significantly impact their future status for the roster showdown.
