Hansi Flick cut a calm and satisfied figure after guiding Barcelona to another Spanish Super Cup triumph.
The German lifted his second Super Cup title with Barça, once again getting the better of Real Madrid in a high-pressure final that lived up to its billing.
More than the trophy itself, Flick appeared pleased by the way his team approached the game, controlled key moments, and showed the mentality required to win yet another Clasico final.
Flick made it clear that while the final was never going to be easy, Barça executed the game plan with confidence and authority.
“I’m proud. We played well, we controlled the game, and we played our style,” Flick said, before acknowledging the challenge posed by their rivals.
“They have a lot of quality, and it wasn’t easy, but the first half was fantastic,” he added.

One of the standout performers on the night was Raphinha, whose brace proved crucial in swinging the final in Barça’s favour.
Flick was asked about the Brazilian’s importance to the title, and his answer highlighted mentality as much as talent.
“His mentality is incredible. He missed the first chance and then immediately made it 1-0. He gained confidence. Rafa brings a lot of intensity to the pitch.”
The German coach’s record in finals continues to attract attention, with eight wins from eight showpiece matches.
When questioned about the secret behind that remarkable run and the message he passes on to his squad, Flick said,
“To score one more goal than the opponent. This is not about me, but about the players.
“It’s 100% mentality, confidence. I never think about the past. Today’s final is important and it’s always special to win.”

Beyond tactics and goals, Flick also spoke emotionally about Ronald Araujo, whose smile after the final carried extra meaning following a difficult period.
“Given his situation, winning this title and being back on the pitch means a lot to him. We are always supporting him.
“He is an important player in the dressing room, a good player.”
The Barça coach ended by praising Eric Garcia, identifying him as a key figure for the club’s future while also recognising the collective effort behind the win.
“He has improved a lot, and I really appreciate that. He has a good mentality, can play in several positions and is a leader for the future of this club.”
He concluded with a nod to the wider squad, stating, “The other players also played very well.”
Lastly, when asked about the celebration in the locker room, he explained, “I saw the players dancing in the locker room. I think we were fantastic.
“Throughout the entire match, we played our style. It wasn’t easy, but we fought together as a team. And that’s it.”
