We want to hear from you! It's time to vote for the Daily Advertiser's 2025-26 Midseason Basketball Players of the Year.
As we hit the midway point of the high school boys and girls basketball season in Lafayette Parish and its surrounding areas, stars across the 337 have risen.
Over a month into the season and with district play around the corner, there has been no shortage of storylines. From standing room only tournament showdowns to buckets galore, athletes leave their hearts on the court week in and week out.
Who has been the top boys and girls basketball players midway through the 2025-26 high school basketball season? It's time to have your voice heard. Thirty-five boys and girls basketball players have been placed on each ballot for readers to vote for The Daily Advertiser Midseason Players of the Year.
Players were selected based on the information available to The Daily Advertiser such as MaxPreps stats, submitted stats, rankings and the Daily Advertiser’s Top 25 and Top 17 lists. Voting will end January 21 and the winners will be announced on January 24 at www.theadvertiser.com.
There are no voting restrictions, so vote early and vote often.
