Brendan Sorsby, a top QB in the transfer portal, reportedly chooses Texas Tech over Lane Kiffin, LSU

Sorsby reportedly made the decision after weekend visits with Texas Tech and LSU.

Texas is Tech is reloading following a breakout 12-2 campaign that concluded with a Big 12 title and a berth the College Football Playoff. 

Per multiple reports, former Cincinnati quarterback Brendan Sorsby committed to Texas Tech Sunday night. Sorsby was the No. 3 quarterback and No. 7 player overall in the transfer portal per On3 rankings and is considered the portal's No. 1 quarterback by multiple outlets.

Sorsby chose Texas Tech over LSU and new head coach Lane Kiffin. He reportedly made the decision after a weekend of visits with both programs. Sorsby joins an incoming transfer class at Texas Tech that On3 had ranked No. 1 as of Sunday night ahead of No. 2 LSU.
