How should Chelsea line up against AFC Bournemouth?

Chelsea vs. AFC Bournemouth, Premier League: You choose the starting lineup

Chelsea’s final match of the calendar year is a home game against AFC Bournemouth. The Cherries jut got smacked to the tune of 4-1 in West London, against Brentford; can we administer a similar fate onto them at the Bridge on Tuesday night?

Inexplicably, Enzo Maresca was not asked about Marc Cucurella’s hamstring in today’s pre-match press conference, so we don’t know if our nearly ever-present left back will be available after complaining about that in our previous game and subsequently getting taken off in the second half. We do know that his nominal backup, Jorrel Hato, is definitely not fit to feature, to make matters worse.

Maresca did confirm that Wesley Fofana’s absence on Saturday was purely tactical, so the defender should be available. However, other key players, like Cole Palmer and Reece James, may be rotated out after playing extensively on the weekend and, presumably, would be in line for a similar workload next weekend, against Manchester City.

Choose wisely.
