It’s FC Bayern’s turn for the yearly goal treatment.
Bayern Munich has had quite the year when it comes to goals. Vincent Kompany has transformed Bayern into an attacking juggernaut, making them score goals left, right, and center. The same can be said for the women’s team as well, who have very rarely skipped a beat all year. Here are the top ten best goals from the calendar year!
10. Luis Díaz vs Eintracht Frankfurt
Bundesliga Matchday 6, 2025/26
Goal Scored: 1-0, FT: 3-0
Bayern Munich had failed to win at Frankfurt for three whole years, and this time was not going to be easy…until about 14 seconds into the match. Serge Gnabry took advantage of a bad clearance from the Frankfurt defense and squared it to Luis Díaz, who finished from close range. It was one of the fastest goals Bayern had ever scored in Bundesliga history, and it set the tone for a solid away win in Frankfurt. More on that in a bit.
9. Harry Kane vs VfB Stuttgart
Bundesliga Matchday 13, 2025/26
Goal Scored: 2-0, FT: 5-0
Being Bayern’s top goalscorer of the year, Harry Kane will make a few appearances on this list. This is his first. With Bayern away to Stuttgart, it was not going to be a walk in the park. But Bayern made light work of the hosts, and in the 66th minute, Kane dribbled into the opposing half before arrowing a lightning bolt of a shot right past Alexander Nübel in goal from around 30 meters out. The goal was not too unlike the one he also scored against the same opponents last season. This was the first of the three Kane scored that evening, after coming off the bench, no less.
8. Harry Kane vs Eintracht Frankfurt
Bundesliga Matchday 6, 2025/26
Goal Scored: 2-0, FT: 3-0
We go back to the aforementioned win against Frankfurt. Having gone a goal up early on, Bayern had complete control of the game, and they made their dominance count. In the 27th minute, Luis Díaz this time laid the ball off for Harry Kane, who let loose a shot with the outside of his boot that slightly curled beyond the keeper’s reach from outside the box. Bayern would soon add a third goal through Díaz again and wrap up another fine performance.
7. Jamal Musiala vs Eintracht Frankfurt
Bundesliga Matchday 23, 2024/25
Goal Scored: 3-0, FT: 4-0
Yet another goal against Frankfurt makes the list, this one from last season. In the dying minutes of the game, Jamal Musiala went on a mazy run all through the Frankfurt half with two defenders in front of him. While he did not exactly squeeze through them, he somehow managed to keep the ball at his feet as he wove around them (even after falling down at one point) and capped his run off with a cool finish. A goal that illustrates just how much talent Musiala has in those boots of his.
6. Harry Kane vs Union Berlin
Bundesliga Matchday 10, 2025/26
Goal Scored: 2-2, FT: 2-2
Bayern were on a scintillating winning streak ever since the 2025/26 season started, but all good things must come to an end. Union Berlin were the unlikely challengers, and had taken a late 2-1 lead going into stoppage time. Enter Harry Kane. The England captain headed in a cross from Tom Bischof to salvage a 2-2 draw in the 93rd minute, and while the winning streak ended, it still meant that Bayern were unbeaten, a record they carried with them through the remaining Bundesliga games of the year.
5. Alphonso Davies vs Celtic
UEFA Champions League Knockout Playoffs Second Leg, 2024/25
Goal Scored: 1-1, FT: 1-1
Bayern were not exactly in a good spot in the 2024/25 Champions League. They had finished outside the top 8 and had to go through the knockout playoffs, and while they did manage to evade giants Manchester City, their opponents Celtic did not give them an easy ride. Rather, they took a shock lead at the Allianz Arena to deadlock the aggregate score and seemingly send the two teams to extra time…but lo and behold, Michael Olise whipped in a cross that Leon Goretzka headed straight at the keeper, and Alphonso Davies picked up the loose ball and bundled it over the line to send Bayern to the round of 16. It saved Bayern 30 extra minutes of playtime, an amount the team may not have been able to endure.
4. Lea Schüller vs VfL Wolfsburg
2025 DFB-Supercup Frauen
Goal Scored: 3-1, FT: 4-2
The Bayern Munich Frauen have had quite the year in 2025, and they picked up right where they left off in 2024/25 when the DFB-Supercup rolled around. As reigning double winners, Bayern faced Bundesliga runners-up Wolfsburg in the final, and they did exactly what they had been doing all year – score goals. With Bayern 2-1 up, some good pressing allowed them to win the ball back in a dangerous position. Sarah Zadrazil lobbed the ball to Lea Schüller, who chested the ball down and then whipped a spectacular curling volley right into the top corner from the edge of the box. Bayern went on to win 4-2 and claim their first trophy of the season.
3. Glódis Perla Viggósdóttir vs Arsenal
UEFA Champions League Matchday 3, 2025/26
Goal Scored: 3-2, FT: 3-2
The UEFA Women’s Champions League took a bit of a format shift this season, following the men’s tournament and swapping individual groups for one league phase. Bayern were not dealt a favorable draw, though, facing defending champions Arsenal among others. Indeed, Arsenal showed why they were champions and took a 2-0 lead at halftime. But Bayern were not going down without a fight, and tied the scores with two goals of their own. With four minutes to go, Klara Bühl whipped in a cross from the left, and Glódis Perla Viggósdóttir’s outstretched foot put Bayern into the lead, a lead they kept until the full time whistle. The goal ended up being crucial in Bayern’s march to the top four of the league phase, exempting them from the playoffs.
2. Harry Kane vs VfB Stuttgart
2025 Franz Beckenbauer Supercup
Goal Scored: 1-0, FT: 2-1
In the first DFL-Supercup renamed after the legendary Franz Beckenbauer, Bayern were determined to win in the Kaiser’s honor. It did not take too long for lightning to strike – Michael Olise’s lob forward was poorly dealt with, and Harry Kane made a sliding shot that arrowed into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. Not only was it the goal that set the Bavarians on the road to victory, but it was also Kane’s first ever goal that he scored in a final. He was well rewarded for it as he lifted his second major trophy after the game.
Honorable Mention: Arjen Robben vs Borussia Dortmund
Beckenbauer Cup Semifinal
Goal Scored: 1-0, FT: 2-0
Before we move on to No. 1, here is a goal that deserves a shout. In the 5-a-side Beckenbauer Cup tournament held in March, Bayern’s legends were up against rivals Dortmund in the semifinals. The match was goalless until the dying seconds, when Diego Contento made a nuisance of himself for the Dortmund defense. Who should the loose ball fall to but Arjen Robben? Mr. Wembley tapped home for Bayern to take a late lead, just like he had done twelve years ago. Contento himself then made it two for Bayern to reach the final, which they won 4-0 against Real Madrid. A relatively minor goal, but one that brings back so many memories.
1. Luis Díaz vs Union Berlin
Bundesliga Matchday 10, 2025/26
Goal Scored: 1-1, FT: 2-2
Remember that Kane equalizer from earlier? Well, that goal may have salvaged the point, but this one was probably the most technically difficult and artistic one of the bunch. Josip Stanišić slid a ball through to Luis Díaz, but the ball seemed a bit too long. Díaz, however, somehow managed to keep the ball in play with a deft sliding tackle, then turned on the spot, picked himself up, and launched the ball into the far corner from a very tight angle. It was such a sight that it was replayed over and over on all possible platforms, and quite fittingly was named Bayern’s Goal of the Month for November. Even on EA FC does one score goals like this very rarely.
So those are our top ten (plus one) goals from Bayern in the calendar year! What was your favorite, and what did we miss out? Let us know in the comments!
