FC Bayern likely won’t sell Leon Goretzka in January.
According to a report from Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu (via Tek Yol FENER as captured by @iMiaSanMia), there is yet another club interested in a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka — Fenerbahçe:
Fenerbahçe head coach Domenico Tedesco is looking for a high-profile midfielder with a similar playing style to Leon Goretzka.
For as maligned as Goretzka is on the home front with Bayern Munich fans. he seems to be drawing interest on the transfer market. Part of the appeal is that inquiring clubs could assume that he would be available for a nominal fee in January or on a free transfer in July. However, Bayern Munich is very unlikely to sell Goretzka in the coming weeks and will likely let him walk away for free next summer.
When that happens, the Germany international could have some nice options to consider.
