Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been listed as doubtful for Saturday’s action.
Both of the Green Bay Packers’ quarterbacks on the 53-man roster, Jordan Love and Malik Willis, are questionable going into Saturday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, according to the Packers’ final injury report of the week. Love left last week’s game with a concussion, but was a limited participant throughout the week of practice. Willis injured his throwing shoulder in the loss to the Chicago Bears, and he has also been a limited participant — aside from Wednesday, when he was a non-participant due to an illness.
If neither Love nor Willis can go, the Packers will have to turn to practice squad quarterback Clayton Tune, who has a career 29.3 passer rating. In his one NFL start, Tune’s Arizona Cardinals lost 27-0 to the Cleveland Browns in 2023. Head coach Matt LaFleur said earlier this week that the team’s emergency quarterbacks are running back Josh Jacobs and receiver Jayden Reed.
Packers Ruled Out
- OL John Williams (back-PUP)
- LB Kristian Welch (ankle)
The only member of the 53-man roster who has already been ruled out against the Ravens is special teams contributor Kristian Welch. With him out of the picture, assume that practice squad linebacker Jamon Johnson will be called up to the gameday roster. Johnson played special teams for the Packers on Thanksgiving when the team was down numbers at the position.
Packers Ruled Questionable
- QB Jordan Love (left shoulder/concussion)
- QB Malik Willis (right shoulder/illness)
- WR Christian Watson (shoulder/illness)
- C Sean Rhyan (knee/illness)
- RT Zach Tom (back/knee)
- CB Bo Melton (illness)
- S Evan Williams (knee)
It looks like a bug is floating around the Packers’ locker room. Cornerback/receiver Bo Melton hasn’t been able to practice at all this week due to an illness, while receiver Christian Watson and center Sean Rhyan were both non-participants on Thursday with a bug. If Rhyan can’t start at center, the assumption is that Jacob Monk would end up making his first NFL start on Saturday.
Notably, right tackle Zach Tom hasn’t practiced this week, so you can go ahead and assume that it’ll be Jordan Morgan on the right end this week. Meanwhile, safety Evan Williams has been a limited participant throughout the week.
Ravens Injuries
- QB Lamar Jackson (back, doubtful)
- LB Jay Higgins IV (knee, IR-questionable)
- DT Taven Bryan (knee, IR-out)
There’s only one injured Raven on Baltimore’s 53-man roster, but it’s their most important player: quarterback Lamar Jackson. Jackson went down with a back contusion last weekend and hasn’t participated in practice this week. Officially, he’s doubtful to play against the Packers, which means that it will likely be Tyler Huntley making a road start on Saturday.
