One of the more underrated stars in all of college basketball.
The talented post-scorer is continuing his stretch of dominance this week, winning his second West Coast Conference Player of the Week trophy in the last three weeks.
Gonzaga redshirt junior forward Braden Huff averaged 28.5 points on a 73.5 field goal percentage and 50.0 three-point percentage, seven rebounds, and a block in victories over the Campbell Fighting Camels and Oregon Ducks this week. He had a career-high 37 points on 16-for-18 shooting against Campbell in the McCarthey Athletic Center (the most made field goals in the history of that arena) and hit his first 12 shots in that outing.
The Zags have now come away with the conference player of the week award a total of four times this season, as graduate forward Graham Ike has been given the honor twice already.
Next for the frontcourt duo is the start of conference play against the Pepperdine Waves (5-8) on Sunday, Dec. 28, at the Firestone Fieldhouse in Malibu, California. Tip-off is set for 5:00 p.m. PT on ESPN+.
