The AL homerun leader did it again.
Cal Raleigh hadn’t gone deep in nearly two weeks. That changed in a big way Tuesday night when the Seattle Mariners catcher turned on a high fastball and sent it soaring into the seats in right field.
Raleigh crushes No. 39 as Mariners snap Brewers' 11-game streak
That solo shot was the only run of the game, but it was all Seattle needed. Logan Gilbert fired 6 1/3 scoreless innings and the Mariners put a stop to the Milwaukee Brewers 11-game winning streak with a tight 1-0 win.
Raleigh, the league leader in home runs, hadn’t gone yard since July 11. He now sits at 39 on the season after taking Nick Mears deep in the seventh inning. Mears was charged with the loss, while Gilbert and closer Andres Muñoz handled the rest.
Gilbert struck out 10, allowed just two hits, and didn't walk a batter. He needed only 86 pitches to quiet Milwaukee's offense and exited to a standing ovation. The right-hander carried a perfect game into the fifth inning before giving up back-to-back singles. That was as much trouble as he’d see.
On the other side, Brewers rookie Jacob Misiorowski was strong through 3 2/3 innings, striking out seven and giving up three hits. But once the bullpen took over, the door opened slightly, just enough for Raleigh to slam it shut.

Muñoz notched his 22nd save of the season, locking up the Mariners' third 1-0 victory of the year. Only the Padres and Yankees have more by that scoreline.
Milwaukee’s win streak ends at 11, just short of the 13-game run Minnesota put together earlier this season. The loss also snaps one of the hottest stretches any National League team has had this year.
