Thanks, Texas Tech
Purdue is back in the top 5 this week, and it owes a huge thank you to Texas Tech for that. Not only is hte win over the Red Raiders a little bit better now, they stormed back ot beat Duke and knock the Blue Devils behind the Boilermakers in this week’s poll. Surprisingly, it wasn’t by that much though. Purdue absolutely hammered Texas Tech, while Duke lost to them, yet Purdue is only slightly ahead of Duke in this week’s poll.
We also see a pair of teams crack the top 25 this week that Purdue will play on the road later in Iowa and USC. All told, Purdue has nine games against teams in the current top 25, and it has already beaten two of them.
