The Washington State Cougars will battle the Utah State Aggies for a shot at the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, Indiana.
Washington State struggled to find a consistent rhythm all season. Their longest win streak was only two games, achieved at the start of the season. Similarly, Utah State shares this challenge, both teams holding a 6-6 record and never winning more than two consecutive games.
Utah State certainly has the edge on offense with senior quarterback Bryson Barnes. Barnes leads the Aggies in not just passing, but rushing as well, with 733. Junior receiver Braden Pegan is just 74 yards away from 1,000 receiving yards for Utah State.
Washington State has a senior quarterback of their own, Zevi Eckhaus. Eckhaus has passed for 12 touchdowns but has only three fewer interceptions, for a total of nine.
