Chicago Sky star Angel Reese was named to the WNBA All-Star team in 2025. This marks the second time that she has received this honor in as many professional seasons.
Reese and the Sky are 7-15 at the halfway point in the season under first-year coach Tyler Marsh, but the former LSU Tiger is having another productive campaign for Chicago.
She is scoring a career-best 14 points per game and dishing 3.8 assists per contest, which is double the assists she contributed last season. Her 12.6 rebounds per game are leading the WNBA.
During last weekend's All-Star Game, Reese teamed with Dallas Wings star rookie guard Paige Bueckers on Team Collier. They defeated Team Clark 151-131 on Saturday evening.
After the All-Star festivities commenced, Bueckers made an Instagram post to commemorate her selection to the team as a rookie. Reese responded to this post in the comments with one simple word, a nickname for Bueckers.
"pskiiiii," Reese wrote.
Both Reese and Bueckers contributed six points for Team Collier in the win. Reese added nine rebounds, two assists and a steal while going plus-17. Bueckers dished eight assists and grabbed two rebounds.
Now that the All-Star break has concluded, Reese and Bueckers return to their respective teams for the second half of the season. Play resumes on Tuesday, when the Sky will take on the Minnesota Lynx and the Wings will face off against the Seattle Storm.
