The 2025 WNBA All-Star weekend is in the books. It was a successful, entertaining weekend, that saw history made multiple times over. Despite Caitlin Clark having to withdraw from the weekend's events due to a groin injury, Friday and Saturday night still delivered on the court.
Clark was scheduled to compete in her first ever WNBA 3-point contest on Friday as well as play in the All-Star game on Saturday, however, the nagging injury that has caused her to miss 10 games so far this regular season, kept her sidelined.
She still handled her duties as team captain of Team Clark, as she cheered her team on and even drew up plays and called timeouts from the bench inside her Indiana Fever's home arena, Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The city of Indianapolis, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse, played host to All-Star weekend for the first time in WNBA history.
Following the conclusion of All-Star weekend, Clark took to her official X account, to make her opinion of the job the Fever and the city of Indianapolis did while hosting these special events perfectly clear.

Clark has spent both of her seasons in the WNBA with the Fever after being selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 draft. She went on to win the Rookie of the Year award entering the 2025 WNBA season as the favorite to win the MVP award.
Injuries have plagued Clark's sophomore season so far, and her Fever entered the All-Star break with a record of 12-11 (sixth place).
Clark is still listed as day-to-day with her groin injury, but her Fever are set to start their second half push toward the playoffs on Tuesday at 8 p.m. EDT on ESPN against the New York Liberty.
