Mizzou QB Beau Pribula to Enter Transfer Portal

Missouri quarterback Beau Pribula intends to enter the transfer portal this offseason.

It was confirmed by numerous reports on Thursday that Missouri quarterback Beau Pribula will be entering his name into the transfer portal this offseason.

Pribula, who will be entering his final year of eligibility, spent just one season with the Tigers after a redshirt year then two-year stint with Penn State behind Drew Allar. With Mizzou, he finished the 2025 season with 1,941 passing yards, 11 passing touchdowns, nine interceptions and 297 rushing yards and six touchdowns on the ground. He helped the Tigers to a 8-4 regular seasos.

The former Missouri quarterback went down with an ankle injury in the third quarter resulting in his absence over the next two games. The time gave freshman Matt Zollers an opportunity to shine. With two starts against then-No. 3 Texas A&M and Mississippi State, the first-year player finished the season with 402 passing yards, four touchdowns and one interception.

With Pribula out, Drinkwitz announced the team will be starting Zollers in their upcoming Gator Bowl matchup against No. 19 Virginia. Kickoff for that is on Dec. 27 at 6:30 p.m. in Jacksonville, Florida.

Hailing from York, Pennsylvania, Pribula began his career as a three-star prospect, originally signing with Penn State despite interest from Nebraska and Virginia Tech. Once he announced he was entering the portal last season, he committed to the Tigers after weighing offers from Iowa, Ole Miss and UCF.

While it remains unknown truly whether Drinkwitz will be shopping quarterback in the future, that leaves Matt Zollers, Sam Horn, Brett Brown and 2026 commit Gavin Sidwar as the five quarterbacks in Missouri’s QB room.
