The Oklahoma City Thunder won the 2024-25 NBA Championship and forward Jalen Williams was a big part of it.

Williams showcased a versatile two-way game as he dazzled on both offense and defense, from beyond the three-point arc to inside the paint.

Williams' devastatingly effective postseason helped the Thunder to win its first ever championship while cementing the former Santa Clara Broncos first round pick as a name to watch among rising stars.

On Saturday, the typically reserved Williams lashed out at NBA fans and media in comments made on a well known podcast.

"The media thing for me is like, they're gonna love you one day, they're gonna hate you the next day, and that cycle is gonna continue so they can get people to watch," Williams said on 'The Young Man and the Three' podcast.

"People don't actually watch, they just listen to what people are saying, so it's like, so that helped me a lot because then it was like, if I have a bad game, it's like, 'Meh,' like I'm actually the only one experiencing what's going on."

Williams scored 20-plus points in four out of seven Finals games with the Thunder including a 40-point effort in Game 5 as Oklahoma City closed out Rick Carlisle, Pascal Siakam and the Pacers in a memorable series.
