Not so fast, Internet.
Caitlin Clark managed to be one of the main events of WNBA All-Star Weekend without even playing.
An injury kept the Indiana Fever star out of game action, but she created plenty of viral moments as a pseudo-coach on the sidelines.
She's also going viral for a different reason.
One parody account on X has posted Clark wearing a shirt that she never actually wore.
Did Caitlin Clark wear an 'I deserve NBA money' shirt?
No, Caitlin Clark never wore a shirt with the words "I deserve NBA money" on it.
She wore the matching shirts of the other WNBA All Stars before the game that read, "Pay us what you owe us."
The parody account NBA Centel edited a photograph of Clark in that shirt to instead display the "I deserve NBA money" message.
It's simply not a real photograph.
There's plenty of conversation to be had about how much money Clark deserves given her importance to the NBA.
But she didn't go out of her way to make her own individualized statement on a shirt.
