Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that his side retain huge confidence in themselves to win silverware next season.

Off the back of three consecutive second-place finishes in the Premier League, there has been some growing frustration within the Arsenal fan base over their inability to get over the line.

Nonetheless, Gunners head coach Arteta is insistent that his players fully believe in their title credentials ahead of the 2025/26 season.

“They are fully convinced,” he said during a press conference ahead of the start of Arsenal’s pre-season tour in Singapore.

“The good thing is I don’t have to convince them. They know how good they are and how close we’ve been. At the end, it’s those details that make you make the next step which we all want, and just working on them.

“Realising where they are and the basic things we need to have throughout the season to put ourselves in the best competitive opportunities and chances to have the biggest probability to achieve our goals.

“That’s our daily work. That’s our responsibility in each individual as well, and there’s excitement as well.”

Arsenal have shown their intent to mount another title challenge with their work in the transfer market so far, having completed deals for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard and Noni Madueke.

They are also in advanced talks with Sporting CP for Viktor Gyokeres, while Cristhian Mosquera is expected to be unveiled as an Arsenal player later this week.

Arsenal will get their pre-season tour underway with a clash against AC Milan on Wednesday, after which clashes against Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur will follow on July 27 and July 31 respectively.
