Injuries are part of the game, but that doesn’t make them any easier, especially when you’re the face of a franchise like Caitlin Clark. The physical recovery is one thing, but the emotional roller coaster? That’s where having the right people around you really makes a difference.

Whether it’s a simple check-in or a few words of encouragement, little things go a long way. And in Clark's case, it turns out her teammates have her back in a big way. One of them recently shared the heartfelt message she gave Clark, and it says a lot about their bond.

Aliyah Boston, Clark’s Indiana Fever teammate, recently shared her conversation with Clark regarding her injuries. Boston said, “Just continuing to be in her corner and cheering her on. Making sure she knows, 'Listen, we got your back no matter what. Take your time, we got you.'”

The WNBA’s big All-Star weekend in Indianapolis was supposed to be another major milestone for Caitlin Clark in just her second season. She was voted captain for Saturday’s game and was ready to show off her range in the 3-point contest.

But instead, she’ll be on the bench once again, something fans are unfortunately getting used to this season. After being incredibly durable at Iowa and during her rookie year, Clark has already missed 10 regular-season games, plus the Fever's Commissioner's Cup title game, this summer due to three separate injuries.

The latest setback? A groin strain from a game on Tuesday. Despite the missed time, she’s still averaging 16.5 points and nearly nine assists. Indiana had big expectations this year, and while they’re still in the playoff mix, Clark’s absences have definitely taken some of the shine off their campaign.
