The University of Connecticut capped its remarkable 2024‑25 season with a dominant 82–59 victory over South Carolina in the NCAA title game, securing the program’s 12th national championship.

Guard Azzi Fudd poured in 24 points on 9‑of‑17 shooting and added three steals, earning the Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player honors after powering UConn to a flawless 18-0 conference record, finishing 37–3 overall.

In a move that highlights her growing influence beyond the court, it was revealed on Thursday that Fudd will join iHeart Women’s Sports to launch her own podcast, "Fudd Around And Find Out."

Co‑produced with Stephen Curry and Erick Peyton’s Unanimous Media, the series promises to blend hoops discussion with culture, business insights and candid conversations about life beyond basketball.

Fudd arrived at Storrs as the nation’s top recruit in 2021, fresh off a historic high school career that saw her become the youngest-ever Gatorade National Girls Basketball Player of the Year (2019) and a McDonald’s All‑American despite recovering from ACL/MCL surgery.

The Arlington, Virginia native has since developed into a true two‑way force over four seasons with the Huskies, averaging 13.6 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game on 47.4% shooting during her senior season.

Fudd’s business ventures already extend well beyond basketball.

Since arriving at UConn, she’s signed name‑image‑likeness (NIL) deals with Chipotle, American Eagle, TikTok, BioSteel, Nerf, the Curry Brand and many others.

This podcast deal, with the first episode set to premiere in August, marks another milestone in Fudd’s burgeoning media portfolio.

"This podcast is a space where I can bring my full self—athlete, storyteller, budding entrepreneur and fan of the game—and highlight the voices that deserve to be heard," Fudd said in the official press release.
