Fans Are Loving Bryce James' Tribute to LeBron James at Arizona

Like father, like son.

Fans Are Loving Bryce James' Tribute to LeBron James at Arizona originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

As his father, LeBron James, prepares for his 23rd NBA season and his older brother, Bronny James, heads into his second, Bryce James is preparing for his first season of college basketball.

Unlike his older brother, who was ranked as a five-star recruit and attended USC in Los Angeles, the younger James was ranked as a three-star recruit and opted to leave the area.

Ranked as a three-star recruit and No. 283 player in the country, Bryce James chose to continue his basketball career at the University of Arizona, picking the Wildcats over Ohio State and Duquesne, which were his only other confirmed offers.

While James will have to fight for minutes on a roster with three five-star recruits, he is still someone that many fans will be looking forward to seeing.

James and the Wildcats are still ways away from their season opener, but fans were given a reason to get a bit excited on Tuesday as the team revealed who will be wearing what jersey number.

When it comes to James, he will be donning No. 6, which his father wore during his stint with the Miami Heat, and many took notice of it.

"Bryce James number 6 Arizona jersey is kind of hard ngl," commented a fan.

"Nice how Bryce is wearing 6 like his father ❤️🤍💙! It be nice we can see LeBron at the games," said a second.

"I just know this one is gonna do numbers on Greek Row," joked another.

"that Bryce joint is gonna put up Wilt numbers in the Sigma Chi house," added another.

"I need a Bryce jersey asap," exclaimed one fan.

"Need that Bryce James jersey to be for sale asap," chimed in another.

James and the Wildcats will open next season in a clash with the defending champion Florida Gators in Las Vegas.

It's unclear if James will be in the rotation from the jump, but he does offer some nice size on the perimeter at 6-foot-4 and has shown the ability to shoot the three-ball. Regardless, fans will certainly be looking out for No. 6 next season.
