A fresh insight into the details of the meeting held by La Liga giants Barcelona with super agent Jorge Mendes this week has been forthcoming online.

The player in question? Denzel Dumfries.
The name of wing-back Dumfries has of course emerged as a prominent one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over recent weeks.
This comes after widespread reports were forthcoming, suggesting that Deco and co. were giving real consideration to a move for the Dutchman’s signing.
Dumfries’ Inter Milan release clause has been slashed to just €25 million for the month of July, making him something of a market opportunity.
After sitting down for a meeting with the 29-year-old’s representative this week, Dumfries’ name was therefore put to Barcelona pair Joan Laporta and Deco once more.
As confirmed by Sport, however:
‘The sporting area likes him a lot and, above all, Hansi Flick, but the club has other priorities such as the winger and must fit all the pieces together.’
As things stand, Barca moving for Dumfries before the end of the month therefore looks unlikely.
