Real Madrid young defender on the radars of Spanish second-division club – report

Over the past week or so, Real Madrid bid goodbye to several young talents from the club, with the likes of Victor Munoz, Rafel Obrador, Marvel, and Yusi moving on to new adventures.

Another talented player who is expected to be on the move in the coming days is defender Lorenzo Aguado.

Albacete want Lorenzo Aguado

Now, according to AS, La Liga 2 club Albacete have identified Lorenzo Aguado as a target for this summer window.

The 22-year-old right-back from Real Madrid is well-regarded by Albacete’s sporting department, and the second-division club is interested in securing his signing.

Aguado has been a key player for Real Madrid Castilla and has played 36 times, registering two goals and an assist.

The La Fabrica talent even made his debut for the Merengues’ first team under Carlo Ancelotti last season, featuring in three matches with the senior squad.

However, with Dani Carvajal and Trent Alexander-Arnold ahead of him in the pecking order, and Jesus Fortea expected to take over as the starting right-back at Castilla, Aguado is expected to move on.

Real Madrid recently turned down an offer from a Qatari club for the Castilla right-back, but he could end up leaving for Albacete.

Albacete have often looked to Valdebebas as a source for signings. Last year, midfielder Javi Villar joined the team after leaving Castilla and delivered a strong performance in his debut season.

The La Liga 2 club recently signed Jesus Vallejo after his contract expired at Real Madrid and now want Lorenzo Aguado as well.
