Caitlin Clark's injury-riddled season forges on. The Indiana Fever superstar has missed a total of nine games so far this season while battling a groin injury.

She spent the remainder of the game with a towel over her head, fighting back tears, as the speculation as to the level of the injury began to swirl around the basketball world.
Clark and the Fever, scheduled to play in their first back-to-back of the season, are set to take on the New York Liberty, on the road at 7:30 p.m. EDT on Wednesday night on CBS Sports Network.

Clark, 23, will now miss her tenth game of the season. Wednesday night's game against the Liberty is the Fever's final game ahead of the WNBA All-Star break.
Clark's status for the WNBA's All-Star festivities remains up in the air. The All-Star events are set to take place in Clark's home arena, Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Clark is scheduled to participate in the WNBA All-Star 3-point shooting contest. It would be the first of her career and is set to take place on Friday, July 18.
She is also the team captain for Team Clark, who will take on Team Collier, as the WNBA All-Star Game is set to tip-off on Saturday, July 19.
The Fever's first game following the All-Star break is another road matchup with the Liberty on Tuesday, July 22, so Clark would potentially have six full days to recover if she isn't able to participate in All-Star weekend.
