4-star LB recruit Nick Abrams announces commitment

The Georgia Bulldogs have added a commitment from four-star linebacker recruit Nick Abrams, who is a member of the class of 2026

Four-star linebacker recruit Nick Abrams has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs over the Oregon Ducks, Alabama Crimson Tide and Michigan Wolverines. Abrams, a member of the class of 2026, committed to UGA a day after the Bulldogs missed out on five-star linebacker Tyler Atkinson. Atkinson committed to the Texas Longhorns in a surprising decision.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker plays high school football for the McDonogh School in Owing Mills, Maryland, which is located outside of Baltimore. Abrams visited each of his top four schools in May and June, but ended up committing to Georgia.

The McDonogh star is the No. 238 prospect in the nation, per 247Sports. Abrams is the No. 14 linebacker and the sixth-best recruit in Maryland.

Following Abrams' commitment, the Bulldogs have the No. 2 recruiting class in the country and 29 commitments in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

Abrams is Georgia's second linebacker commitment. He joins four-star Shadarius Toodle, who Georgia flipped from Auburn recently.
