Giallorossi sporting director Frederic Massara is pursuing negotiations which have proven more complicated than expected.
An agreement with Palmeiras is still pending, and they remain firm on their €30 million asking price.
In recent hours, Roma submitted a new offer to Palmeiras, which, including a fixed fee and bonuses, meets the Brazilian club’s €30 million asking price.
Rios already has an agreement with the Giallorossi, and, as reported by CNN, only the final bureaucratic details remain to be resolved to finalize the deal.
