Led by head coach Sherrone Moore, the Michigan Wolverines have already put together a great 2026 recruiting class, featuring a total of 21 commits, ranking No. 4 in the Big Ten and No. 10 in the nation.

However, even with a solid group already, they continue to look for more talent, which even extends to several players who have already committed to other programs.

One of those players is safety Jordan Deck out of Frisco, Texas, who originally pledged himself to the Baylor Bears on June 24.

That may not last long, though, because on Wednesday, both Steve Wiltfong and Sam Spiegelman of Rivals logged expert predictions for the safety to flip his commitment to the Wolverines.

It would be a huge addition for Moore and the Wolverines, as Deck is placed as a four-star recruit, the No. 29 safety, the No. 39 player in Texas and the No. 339 player in the nation according to Rivals Industry Rankings.

He's been solid the past two seasons for Lone Star High School, recording 111 tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack, four interceptions, and 21 pass deflections in 22 games.

It's not as though Michigan has come out of nowhere either, as they were very active in Deck's recruiting process, bringing him in for two visits, including an official one on June 13.

Michigan was also among the four finalists for his original commitment, along with Baylor, the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Colorado Buffaloes.

If they do end up flipping Deck, he would be their second safety in the 2026 class, joining four-star Andre Clarke, who committed to the program on June 30.
