The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James seem not to be on the same page, and the 40-year-old may be on his way out to team up with a few familiar faces.
Ever since he joined the league in 2003, all eyes have been on LeBron James.
It seemed like fate when he was drafted to the Cleveland Cavaliers, having grown up less than an hour outside of the city.
Now that he has spent the last seven years with the Los Angeles Lakers, some of the endings to his seasons have been labeled as disappointing.
When Los Angeles decided to trade for Luka Dončić, the whole trajectory of the team changed, and it was up in the air whether it was LeBron or Luka’s team.
Now, fans are speculating hypothetical trades involving King James and user Lakers Better on Twitter had an idea to send LeBron to the Dallas Mavericks to team him up with some familiar faces, former teammates Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis, and D’angelo Russell -- causing mixed reactions from fans.
The Mavericks would receive LeBron, and the Lakers would receive Klay Thompson, Max Christie, Daniel Gafford, and P.J. Washington.

This trade would arguably be one of the most notable in basketball history, as whatever team has had LeBron in the past has done everything in its power to keep it that way.
However, with recent rumors suggesting the Lakers may not prioritize him, LeBron could be open to leaving. There may be no better place to play than alongside some of the best players he has ever had the pleasure of playing with.
Even in year 22 for James, he averaged 24.4 points per game on 51.3% from the field, terrific numbers for anybody.
James in Dallas and Dončić in Los Angeles would almost feel like an alternate reality, but it could be in both franchises' benefit to work out a deal.
