The Chicago Sky lost 91-78 to the Minnesota Lynx on Monday after defeating them Saturday.
Chicago’s All-Star forward Angel Reese put up another double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. She also had three assists and one blocked shot but also committed five turnovers.
Limiting turnovers has been a constant issue for Reese. She had six in Saturday's game against Minnesota and is second in the league with 3.8 turnovers per game, second only to Caitlin Clark (5.1).
Reese made WNBA history Saturday by becoming the fastest player to reach 40 career double-doubles and 250 rebounds in a single season.
On Tuesday, Reese posted a couple pictures on her Instagram account showing Monday's pregame outfit. Reese wore all-black attire that earned a reaction from her team.
“BIG STEPPAAA,” the Sky commented.
All-Star forward Napheesa Collier led the Lynx on Monday with 29 points, three rebounds, five assists, three steals and a block. Teammate Courtney Williams had a great all-around game with 18 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, four blocks and two steals.
Up next, the Lynx (19-4) will host the Phoenix Mercury (15-6) at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday. They own the two best records in the WNBA. The Sky (7-14) will look to bounce back at noon ET on Wednesday when they host the Atlanta Dream (12-9).
