Three down, one to go. Hard to believe we're already at the final men's golf major of the 2025 season.

Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland is hosting this week's British Open. This is the 153rd Open, the oldest of the four majors. It's also the last major till next April when we get back around to the 2026 Masters.

Xander Schauffele looks to keep active cuts made streak alive

By making the weekend at last week's Genesis Scottish Open, Schauffele has now made 68 straight cuts, which leads the PGA Tour on the active list. Tigers Woods holds the mark for longest streak of cuts made at 142. Scottie Scheffler is next on the active list with 59. Then there's a big dropoff to Corey Conners in third with 15. Conners and Scheffler are tied for consecutive cuts made just this season at 15, as Schauffele has only played 12 events.
