The Indiana Fever recently faced the Dallas Wings, the first matchup in the WNBA between Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers.

Indiana ultimately defeated the Wings 102-83, winning their second straight game.

Before playing Dallas, the Fever defeated Brittney Griner and the Atlanta Dream. They have gone 2-1 in the last three games since Clark returned to the lineup from injury.

In the highly anticipated matchup between Clark and Bueckers, both teams put on a show. The Fever showed off their offensive prowess and the Wings had great performances from young stars like Bueckers.

After the matchup took place, ESPN announced some exciting news on the game between Clark and Bueckers. It brought in 2.5 million viewers at its peak and 2.1 million average viewers, one of the most-watched games on ABC in WNBA history.

"This past Sunday, ABC aired another of its most-watched #WNBA games EVER with the @IndianaFever's win over the @DallasWings," posted the ESPN public relations team. "2.1M avg. viewers (2.5M peak) WNBA on ESPN up 7% from last season."

Caitlin Clark finished the win over the Dallas Wings with 14 points, three rebounds and 13 assists, posting a season-high in average assists.

Paige Bueckers also had a great game against the Indiana Fever, capping off the matchup with 21 points, four rebounds and four assists.

Both Clark and Bueckers are set to be two of the biggest stars in the WNBA for years to come. As they work through their young careers, both players are headed to the WNBA All-Star game on July 19.
