MLB draft 2025: Every Stetson Hatters baseball star that's been selected

The 2025 MLB Draft is underway, and multiple Stetson players have already been picked.

After no Hatters were taken in the first three rounds Sunday, shortstop Lorenzo Meola got things started early in the fourth on Monday. Multiple teammates followed him.

Which Stetson baseball players have been selected in the 2025 MLB Draft?

SS Lorenzo Meola, Stetson baseball

• MLB team: San Francisco Giants
• Round: 4
• Overall pick: 116
• Buzz: Meola has manned the shortstop position for the Hatters since his freshman year. After claiming the ASUN Tournament MVP award as a sophomore in 2024, he continued his upward trajectory in 2025. The junior won the ASUN Defensive Player of the Year award. In 56 games, Meola cruised to a .324 batting average and .934 OPS. The 21-year-old posted 11 home runs, 43 RBIs, 48 runs and 10 stolen bases.

3B Isaiah Barkett, Stetson baseball

• MLB team: San Francisco Giants
• Round: 10
• Overall pick: 296
• Buzz: Barkett began his college career at North Carolina State before spending two seasons at Stetson. He was the Hatters' leadoff hitter during his junior campaign in 2025, batting .389 with a .959 OPS as his squad advanced to the NCAA Tournament. He then earned a spot on the Auburn Regional All-Tournament Team. Barkett, 21, slashed two home runs and drove in 33 RBIs. He stole 32 bases.

P Ty Van Dyke, Stetson baseball

• MLB team: St. Louis Cardinals
• Round: 10
• Overall pick: 300
• Buzz: At 6-foot-2 and 255 pounds, Van Dyke was the Hatters' go-to hammer out of the bullpen in 2025. The senior made 27 appearances and finished with a 7-0 record and 1.52 ERA in 47⅓ innings. He struck out 71 hitters. Van Dyke earned a spot on Baseball America's All-America Third Team.
