Manchester United are hoping to raise significant money through player sales to help Ruben Amorim in the market, and Alejandro Garnacho has been identified as the most saleable asset.
Despite interest from Juventus and Bayern Munich, Marcus Rashford desperately wants to move to Barcelona with the Catalans likely to offer only a loan for now.
Jadon Sancho is expected to be sold on the cheap, as will Tyrell Malacia. Antony’s sale could involve a complicated procedure.
Which is why the Argentine could fetch the most money, with the Red Devils reportedly valuing the academy graduate at £70 million, all of which will count as pure profit.
Garnacho on his way out
Napoli were offering significantly lower, but the Argentina international is hellbent on staying in England with Chelsea among the frontrunners.
As revealed by The Manchester Evening News, the winger’s agency has been offered help by super agent Pini Zahavi and his Gol International agency in order to help facilitate an exit.
But the 21-year-old’s camp — Leaders, run by Carlos Cambeiro and Enrique de Lucas, have turned down assistance as they look to find their client a new home on their own.
“Alejandro Garnacho’s representatives have rejected approaches to broker a transfer away from Manchester United.
Help rejected
“Pini Zahavi’s Gol International agency contacted Garnacho’s representatives at Leaders, run by Carlos Cambeiro and Enrique de Lucas. However, Cambeiro is intent on facilitating a move without any assistance.”
Zahavi has great relations with the Blues and has Christopher Nkunku as one of his clients, which explains why a swap deal between the Frenchman and Garnacho was proposed a while back.
The Red Devils have turned down that proposal. The Stamford Bridge outfit recently acquired Jamie Gittens’ signature from Borussia Dortmund.
Despite that they are on the lookout for wingers with Noni Madueke on the verge of being sold. Whether the London club come in for Alejandro Garnacho before the window slams shut remains to be seen.
Currently, the Argentina international is back training at Carrington, but was spotted practicing away from the main group along with another star on his way out, Rashford.
