Premier League defender has lodged a legal claim against his former team, Man United, over medical advice.
Manchester United fans are getting agitated with their lack of intent in the summer transfer window, as they are yet to close the deal for Bryan Mbuemo from Brentford.
However, amidst all the transfer action, the problems off the field continue as former defender Axel Tuanzebe is suing the club for medical negligence, as per The Telegraph.
Tuanzebe was with Man United since he was a kid and gained prominence only after rising through the ranks at Carington.
Interestingly, Tuanzebe was highly regarded as a youngster and has captained the Red Devils at all age group levels.
However, his journey with United came to an end in 2023 after he suffered several injuries and featured in only 37 senior team appearances for the club.
On Monday, the 27-year-old has lodged a legal claim against his former club over medical negligence, which is linked to the medical advice that the club gave him.

Tuanzebe continues his Premier League adventure
Tuanzebe's journey in the Premier League was hit with a massive roadblock after his former team, Ipswich Town, got relegated from the English top tier last season.
However, he will continue to feature in the top tier as he joined newly-promoted Burnley ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
The 27-year-old played a big role in helping Ipswich Town gain promotion to the Premier League after joining them in the Championship in the 2023/24 campaign.
Tuanzebe featured for them in 23 appearances last season, and as his contract ran out, he decided to sign for Burnley over signing a fresh deal with Ipswich.
The former United defender will be a key addition for Scott Parker's Burnley as he comes with a lot of Premier League experience and can slot in multiple positions in the backline.
