Arsenal and Sporting have reportedly reached an agreement in principle for striker Viktor Gyokeres to head to the Emirates Stadium.
According to The Athletic, the two clubs have agreed on a deal worth €63.5 million, with an additional €10 million in add-ons.
The Sweden international would join as Mikel Arteta’s key signing to strengthen the centre-forward position – an area the Arsenal boss had been pushing to strengthen in as early as January.
The Athletic are also reporting that the Gunners are finalising a deal for Valencia defender Christhian Mosquera.
Having impressed for Spain in the U21 European Championship, the 21-year-old would move to north London in a deal worth up to €20 million, including add-ons.
Bild, meanwhile, say Bayern Munich will turn their attentions to Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard if they cannot sign Luis Diaz from Liverpool.
