"I deleted Twitter a long time ago," Kirk Herbstreit told a podcast in January. "I don't have it."
Kirk Herbstreit is a self-proclaimed diehard Cincinnati Reds fan from Centerville, Ohio, and the Twitter/X account with his name attached to it has a blue checkmark and 1.8 million followers.
But Herbstreit, an NFL and college football analyst who played quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes, told the "Andy & Ari On3" podcast in January that those fiery tweets about the Reds coming from that account aren't really him.
Cincinnati Reds fan Kirk Herbstreit says he deleted Twitter, and doesn't tweet
"I deleted Twitter a long time ago," Herbstreit said on the podcast. "I don't have it. I just have a buddy. My son tweets stuff out. It's ridiculous. I don't read anything. I don't see anything. Nothing. … I don't pay attention (to social media). I don't look at it."
