In a field of heavyweights constituting the California Live Passport bracket, Amador Valley emerged as the champion despite the absence of Cade Krueger due to injury led by SF Chronicle All-Metro guard Jaylen Smith.

Smith dropped 37 points as the reigning CIF-NCS Division 1 semifinalist took down reigning Division III state champion San Gabriel Valley (which was without  Mahamadou Diop and Mamadou Traore) 60-53 in the title game.

The Dons opened with a 76-37 demolition of Servite, defeated Liberty 58-50, and routed Vista Murrieta 71-46 to make the finals. The rest of the bracket consisted of Great Oak, North (Torrance), Clayton Valley Charter, La Jolla Country Day, Chaminade, Bakersfield, Priory, Venture Academy, Valley Christian (San Jose), and Moreau Catholic.
