Lazio Planning January Move for Imposing MLS Striker

Lazio Interested in Kevin Kelsy

According to Il Messaggero, Kelsy is one of the names on Lazio’s shortlist. The 20-year-old is a Venezuelan centre-forward who boasts an impressive physical presence, as he stands at 194 cm (6’4 ft).

Kelsy’s Career Trajectory

The Valencia native started his career in Venezuela before embarking on an experience in Uruguay with Boston River. He then moved to Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2023, winning two Ukrainian titles and one domestic cup during his stay. In April 2024, he joined Cincinnati on loan, and then signed for Portland Timbers on a deal worth €6 million.

Kelsy’s Stats at Portland

This season, Kelsy has thus far made 20 appearances in all competitions. He scored six goals in the process, and produced one assist. The big striker is tied to the MLS side with a contract valid until December 2028, with an option for another year.
