There isn't better company to keep.
Mickey Mantle is the king of switch-hitters.
Cal Raleigh just wants to say hello.
The Seattle Mariners' superstar catcher has caught up to the New York Yankees' legend in one switch-hitting stat that's hard to believe.
Raleigh, after Friday night, has now hit multiple home runs in eight games this season.
Mantle, in the entire 1961 season, set the switch-hitter record for multi-homer games with eight for the entire campaign.

So yes, Raleigh has tied that incredible Mantle mark while not even halfway through July.
Raleigh is up to 38 homers and 81 RBI in all, a combination that has never happened before in MLB history prior to the All-Star Game.
And when you tie Mantle in something, that's just emphasis on how special this whole season really has been.
Raleigh will have half a season to break a Mickey Mantle switch-hitting record. What a year it has been.
