Ash may not be the hero that TNA wants, but she is the hero that TNA needs.
Ash by Elegance is the savior of TNA. She walked in to WWE Heatwave, defeated Jacy Jayne (by pinning Masha Slamovich), and brings the Knockouts Championship back home. She may not be the hero that TNA wants, but she is the hero that TNA needs.
The champ addressed the Impact Zone for the first time with the gold. Since the latest episode of Impact was taped prior to Heatwave, Ash spoke in a backstage vignette that was edited in to the broadcast. She demands an extravagant celebration for TNA to thank her on next week’s live episode of Impact from Minneapolis. Welcome to the Elegance era.
Since Jayne was never pinned, will she return to TNA for a rematch? We’ll have to wait and see, but it doesn’t look likely that Fatal Influence will crash the party next week. They aren’t advertised yet to appear in Minneapolis.
On top of that, the chapter may be closed on Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx. They were in tag team action on Impact against the IInspiration. The Fatal Influence duo were competitive, but the win belonged to Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee. A spinning heel kick from Cassie sent Henley out of the ring, then the IInspiration finished with the Idolizer on Nyx.
The IInspiration and Fatal Influence were both chasing the Knockouts Tag Team Championship, which is held by the Elegance Brand. This result separates the IInspiration above the pack. Fatal Influence goes out with a loss, and that could wrap up the group’s story in TNA.
