The touchdown drive was setup by a takeaway when Vincent Shavers blasted Caleb Oodie, who fumbled, recovered by Nwaneri Williams.

Was it a crisp half of offense? No.

Was it as bad as it looked? No.

Dylan Raiola is 13-19 for 121 yards with one touchdown. Emmett Johnson has 15 carries so far for 76 yards. Rushing average is only 3.6 yards per carry, which is disappointing, but it’s only the first half football.

Defensively, the Huskers looked shakey on the first drive, but have held the Bearcats to 81 total yards in the first half. They have 61 yards rushing for a 5.1 per rush average.

The second half is coming up!
