Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano will write the final chapter in their trilogy on July 11, as they headline an all-women's boxing card from Madison Square Garden.
A Guinness World Record 17 championship belts will be on the line throughout the card, four of which coming as Taylor defends her undisputed junior welterweight titles against Serrano. Her last defense was in the rematch against Serrano on the undercard of Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson last year, when she earned a narrow unanimous decision win which Serrano contests to this day.
The first fight in 2022 was a fight of the year contender that again Taylor just edged out, that time by majority decision to retain her undisputed lightweight titles.
"This trilogy is granted because I feel like I won this fight. Clearly. I think the world, the millions of people who were watching on Netflix, felt like I won this fight," Serrano said in April. "Nonetheless, Katie Taylor is a great champion and I can't wait to share the ring with her."
