Chelsea and Liverpool are both seriously interested in Hugo Ekitiké, who is widely expected to leave Eintracht Frankfurt this summer. Paris Saint-Germain stand to benefit from any deal, as they hold a 20 percent sell-on clause.
Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg previously reported that Ekitiké is high on Liverpool’s list of attacking targets. The 23-year-old French striker is aware a move to Anfield would likely depend on the club offloading players before making any signings.
Arsenal are also preparing to join the race, according to Bild. Ekitiké is coming off a standout season, scoring 22 goals and adding 11 assists in 47 appearances across all competitions. Frankfurt reportedly value him at around €100 million.
Ekitiké has already drawn interest from Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea, but with Arsenal missing out on both RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško and Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyökeres, they’re now expected to ramp up efforts to land the striker.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported Wednesday that Ékitiké continues to draw interest from the Premier League, with Newcastle among the clubs keen on the striker.
Other Premier League teams are also keeping tabs on the situation following inquiries from Liverpool and Chelsea back in June. Ékitiké has also received interest from Al Hilal and Al Qadsiah in recent weeks, but his priority remains a move within Europe.

This month, CaughtOffside reported that Ékitiké has emerged as Liverpool’s top transfer target, according to sources.
Ékitiké is reportedly aware that Liverpool may need to offload players before making a move and is said to be willing to wait while the club clears space in the squad.
Liverpool had initially targeted Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak due to his proven Premier League track record. However, negotiations have been complicated, with Newcastle setting a £150 million price tag on the Swedish international and showing little interest in selling.
