Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has been on another level over her past five games heading into Wednesday night. She has not only recorded a double-double in each, but has done it while scoring at least 15 points and grabbing at least 15 rebounds.
On Sunday, Reese was named a WNBA All-Star for the second time. The 23-year-old will take the court in Indianapolis on July 19, and after Tuesday night’s draft, she’ll be playing alongside Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier.
Collier, the captain representing the Western Conference, selected Reese for her squad. They’ll face off against Team Clark, led by Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.
Prior to the Sky's game on Wednesday night against the Dallas Wings, Reese spoke to the media and admitted she's "just happy to be with Phee [Collier]."
"We're don’t go to guard each other," Reese said. "So unrivaled. Just happy to be with Phee. Obviously, she's a great player, and she deserves to be a captain this year. She's had a great year, and I'm excited to play with a great talent. I think we have the number one crash-outs on the team. We play defense. It's going to be super competitive, so watch out."

Reese took part in the new Unrivaled three-on-three league this past offseason, where she won a championship on Rose Basketball Club alongside Chelsea Gray, Kahleah Copper, Brittney Sykes, Lexie Hull and Azura Stevens.
Collier, who co-founded the league with New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart, also played in Unrivaled. Although she wasn’t on Reese’s team, the two still became close.
