According to Spanish outlet AS, Madrid're studying the possibility of signing Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace. The 20 year old has impressed in the Premier League catching the attention of the Spanish giants.

Crystal Palace are reportedly demanding no less than 80 million euro for Wharton .. a figure that Madrid may only afford if they complete major sale this summer.

Should the deal prove too difficult, Alonso could instead rely on Arda Güler in the playmaking role or give Dani Ceballos more opportunities.
