Dodgers reveal injury update on Teoscar Hernandez.
Dodgers' Dave Roberts Reveals Teoscar Hernandez Update on Wednesday originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have easily established themselves as one of MLB's top teams throughout the first half of the 2025 season, currently sporting an impressive 56-37 record, putting them in first place in a competitive NL West.
Of course, their roster holds a lot of talent, but they recently took an unfortunate hit as outfielder Teoscar Hernandez has not played since Saturday after fouling a pitch off his left foot against the Houston Astros.
Luckily, he never had to be placed on the Injured List, and on Wednesday, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts stated that Hernandez is "not there yet" but should be good to go by Friday, per MLB.com's Sonja Chen.
Updates from Dave Roberts:

-Shohei Ohtani's next start will come Saturday in SF. Emmet Sheehan will follow.
-Blake Treinen (today, OKC) and Blake Snell (tomorrow, Rancho) are set to begin rehab assignments.
-Teoscar Hernández is "not there yet" but expected to play Friday.
There's no doubt that Los Angeles would have loved to have the slugger back for Wednesday's matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers, as they already lost the first two games of the series and face a potential sweep.
No matter what, though, when Hernandez does it return, it will be a huge boost, as he's put up solid numbers so far this season, accumulating 280 at-bats, 72 hits, 41 runs scored, 15 home runs, 54 RBIs and 13 walks.
Accompanied by those totals is a slash line of .257/.291/.468 with a .759 OPS, which is the fifth highest among any qualified hitters of the Dodgers.
If he comes in and continues to perform at that level, it only solidifies the Dodgers' chances of repeating as World Series champions, with ESPN BET giving them the highest odds (+240) to win it all in 2025.
